5 months after the great Typhoon Yolanda last year, the rest of the Philippines has coped up, and moved on - except for this one island.
This is the story of Kinatarcan Island, a 45-minute boat ride across north of Cebu. A thriving community few people has heard of became homeless - helpless - as Typhoon Yolanda ravaged their homes, their livelihood, even schools on top of the mountains were destroyed, and their very lives.
Finally, the Sto. Niño Augustinan Foundation (SNAF) embraced the odds and took the bold step of rehabilitating, and rebuilding a future these humble have only imagined.
